Jasmin Cassandra Binde (*2000) ist eine vielseitige und aufstrebende Sängerin im Fach des lyrischen Soprans. Derzeit studiert sie im Masterstudiengang Konzertgesang an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München bei Prof. Andreas Schmidt. Zuvor absolvierte sie ein breit gefächertes Studium in den Fächern Schulmusik, Harfe, Querflöte, Instrumentalpädagogik und Chordirigieren an derselben Hochschule.
Bereits während ihres Studiums konnte Jasmin Cassandra Binde zahlreiche Bühnenerfahrungen sammeln. Sie übernahm Hauptrollen wie Susanna in Mozarts Le Nozze di Figaro, Papagena in Mozarts Die Zauberflöte, sowie Belinda in Purcells Dido and Aeneas. Zusätzlich war sie 2021 bis 2023 am Münchner Volkstheater als Mean Girl in dem Stück Gymnasium von Bonn Park und Ben Roessler zu sehen.
Ihr künstlerisches Profil wird durch ein umfangreiches Oratorienrepertoire ergänzt. Als Solistin begeistert sie in Werken wie Bachs Weihnachtsoratorium und Johannespassion, Haydns Schöpfung und Die Jahreszeiten, Mozarts Große Messe in c-Moll, Mendelssohns Paulus und Lobgesang, Saint-Saëns Oratorio de Noël sowie Schnittkes Requiem.

Auszeichnungen und Förderprogramme
2024 wurde Jasmin Cassandra Binde Finalistin beim Bundeswettbewerb Gesang, einem der renommiertesten Gesangswettbewerbe Deutschlands. Im Jahr 2025 nimmt sie an der Singers’ Academy des Balthasar Neumann Chors & Ensembles teil, wo sie von international anerkannten Künstler*innen und Dirigent*innen gefördert wird.
Wertvolle musikalische Impulse erhielt sie durch Meisterkurse bei renommierten Künstler*innen wie Ian Bostridge, Prof. Gerold Huber, Prof. Rannveig Braga, Prof. Fritz Schwinghammer, Barthold Kuijken, Werner Güra und Julia Kleiter.
Neben ihrer solistischen Tätigkeit ist Jasmin Cassandra Binde auch als Ensemblesängerin aktiv. Sie ist unter anderem Mitglied im Philharmonischen Chor München sowie im Ensemble Lauschwerk. 2024 sang sie mit dem Ensemble Lauschwerk solistische Partien in Purcells Oper The Fairy Queen und war Teil der Aufführung von Messiaens Saint François d’Assise unter der Leitung von Kent Nagano in der Elbphilharmonie. Weitere Höhepunkte des Jahres waren Lux Aeterna von Ligeti, ebenfalls in der Elbphilharmonie, Verdis Messa da Requiem in Brasilien, Beethovens Missa Solemnis in Frankreich sowie zahlreiche weitere Konzertprojekte.

Jasmin Cassandra Binde (born 2000) is a versatile emerging lyric soprano. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Music and Theatre Munich, studying under Professor Andreas Schmidt. Additionally, she has completed a broad and diverse program of studies in music education, harp, flute, instrumental pedagogy and choral conducting, all at the University of Music and Theatre Munich.
During her studies, Jasmin Binde gained extensive stage experience. She performed in leading roles such as Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Papagena in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, and Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. From 2021 to 2023 she also appeared at the Münchner Volkstheater as Mean Girl in Gymnasium, a production by Bonn Park and Ben Roessler.
Her artistic profile is further enriched by an extensive oratorio repertoire. Awards and Development Programs
In 2024, Jasmin Binde was a finalist in the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang (National Singing Competition) in Germany. She is currently participating in the Singers’ Academy of the Balthasar Neumann Choir & Ensemble where she is working with internationally acclaimed artists and conductors.
She has also benefited from masterclasses with renowned musicians including Ian Bostridge, Professor Gerold Huber, Professor Rannveig Braga, Professor Fritz Schwinghammer, Barthold Kuijken, Werner Güra, and Julia Kleiter, gaining highly valuable artistic inspiration.
In addition to her work as a soloist, Jasmin Binde is an active ensemble singer. She is a member of the Munich Philharmonic Choir and Ensemble Lauschwerk. In 2024, she performed solo parts in Purcell’s opera The Fairy Queen with Ensemble Lauschwerk and took part in the production of Messiaen’s Saint François d’Assise under the baton of Kent Nagano at the Elbphilharmonie. Other highlights of 2024 included Ligeti’s Lux Aeterna, also performed at the Elbphilharmonie, as well as numerous other concert projects. These experiences enriched her artistic journey and highlight her versatility as a musician.
